Why do you like writing?
Frankie Francis: Because I can write whatever I feel like and in books you can make up a whole world of your own!

When did you start writing and why?
Frankie Francis: I started writing when I was about 4 or 5 because I wanted to give my mum a present. I wrote her a story called 'Stripes and the robin' and have continued writing ever since.

How long have you been writing?
Frankie Francis: I'm not really sure. I sometimes write a story then sort of leave writing alone. I'm much more determined now though

What is the best book you have ever read?
Frankie Francis: I'm afraid I can't answer that! I have read SOO many books it would be hard and unfair to choose just one!

Who is your favorite author?
Frankie Francis: I have many favourite authors. I like any author that can inspire something within me. be it a poem, a story or a picture.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Frankie Francis: That is a very tough question but I think the Trilogy I am writing, 'The Frankie Trilogy' is going to be the best.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Frankie Francis: Write whatever you want. you could even make up a completely new planet, species of animal, just write what you want to!
