Why do you like writing?
Robert G Moons: I like writing as it gives me a chance to express ideas as well as share stories (that are bouncing around in my head) with others.

When did you start writing and why?
Robert G Moons: I needed another creative outlet, and it's something I always wanted to do, but up till now, didn't have the time.

How long have you been writing?
Robert G Moons: I started writing poetry and song lyrics going back 30 years, but it's only been ten years writing fiction and only the past year I started getting more serious.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Robert G Moons: Frank Herbert's "Dune" is my favourite.

Who is your favorite author?
Robert G Moons: Robert E. Howard is my favourite without question. There is something about his writing style that draws me in.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Robert G Moons: "An Acquired Taste" I think worked out well.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Robert G Moons: Write about what you know and have an idea or theme before you even think about a plot. For example: "An Acquired Taste" is basically about a bully who picks on the wrong person. "Chronicles #3" is about knowledge being lost through history. Also, spend time running the story in your head before actually writing it. I have the sequence of events figured out before I even start typing.
