Why do you like writing?
A G Baker: My one dream in life is to create beautiful things; I feel that my characters are people who need their stories told through me, for lack of any other way.

When did you start writing and why?
A G Baker: I've been writing ever since I could remember; I wanted to create something all my own. It just so happens that it came out by way of story.

How long have you been writing?
A G Baker: Seriously writing? Probably about eight years.

What is the best book you have ever read?
A G Baker: Lord of the Rings (because it is my one true love) and Chaos Walking (because it is genius).

Who is your favorite author?
A G Baker: Tolkien, because he put so much thought and heart into his work. Patrick Ness because he's awesome.

What is the best story you have ever written?
A G Baker: It's probably between 'KESS-1' and 'Perfidious'.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
A G Baker: Write what you want to; strive to create something new, not something similar to a story you've seen.
