Gretchen Perkins: because it gives me an outlet for all my teen angst

Gretchen Perkins: when i was in 8th grade i think. i started because i was really depressed, and it gave me a way to talk about the way i was feeling.

How long have you been writing?
Gretchen Perkins: about 3 years

What is the best book you have ever read?
Gretchen Perkins: there are too many...the bell jar, catcher in the rye, the little prince, 1984, one flew over the cuckoo's nest...and lots more

Who is your favorite author?
Gretchen Perkins: sylvia plath most definitely

What is the best story you have ever written?
Gretchen Perkins: i never really like any of them...but i guess bed sheets, or one that i am working on right now

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Gretchen Perkins: just let it flow. if you try to make things perfect, they never will be. if it feels right to you, write it down, you can always go back and change it. and don't listen to a damn word your high school creative writing teacher says, cuz if they are like my teacher, they don't know what they are talking about.
