Interview

Why do you like writing?
Meghan Wall: It gives me a realease when I can't stand the things, I'm feeling.

When did you start writing and why?
Meghan Wall: I started writing when I was about ten, and my parents divorced and I just picked up a pencil to vent.

How long have you been writing?
Meghan Wall: Almost eight years, now.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Meghan Wall: The best book I ever read was a tie between 'Where the Red Fern Grows', and Danielle Steeles 'A Long Road Home'.

Who is your favorite author?
Meghan Wall: My favorite author is also a tie between Danielle Steele, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Meghan Wall: I usually write poems, but occasionally stories. No one has ever read my stories other than close friends and family. My best poem, however, was a poem called ShreddedWings, which won me a two thousand dollar prize at a competition throughout the schools in my county.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Meghan Wall: I would say to take criticism and learn from it, but don't let it dictate what you write. If it is what you truly feel in your heart, then it is already perfect.
