Modern life...

Modern life…

Peter Hunter

…. phone doesn't work…

neither does my Broadband…

… it's where we live… no mobile signal received…

… stuffed… cut off

BT demands Internet message to report fault… so how?

Nice neighbour messages fault on his Internet for us…

As it is Friday before bank holiday… nothing doing until following week…

Tuesday… nothing…

… no way even to find out what, if any thing is happening…

* * *

What a way to live… is this progress… negative progress…?

… technology… in theory when it works…

backwards, backwards, always backwards - whilst one loses the will to live…

* * *

so this is Cameron's Britain… what a world… no way to be old, infirm… or on one's own…

… and if your are all three…?

euthanasia at sixty-five has to be the answer…
