MORE TIME

MORE TIME

To drink the sweet nectar of the grape.
To wine and dine,
to dance with romance,
to partake of a tender kiss.
I would give all for this.

I pray for one more day.
To love again,
To live again,
Dear lord, I need more time.
I wanna win !

It all went by so fast.
The years took flight.
If I could do it all over,
I would do more things right.

Well,if this must be,
and I can not get around it.
I will say I have enjoyed myself
to a some degree.

Perhaps a bit too much at times.
There were a few minor crimes
In all I do not think I was that bad.
More time I wish I had.
