Rain drops

Falling from the sky
of dark gray clouds
Landing on the ground
outside my home
The scent of rain in the air
and everything is wet all around
on the ground and porch
and in the flower bed
and it is even landing in
my garden of weeds
Rain falling from the sky
and all over everything
I am dry
cause I am standing in the door way
watching the rain
and feeling the drops
as they splash all around
rain is falling from the sky
and it is everywhere
