put some Coffee in my cup
ran out of coffee
got the morning blues
need some pepping up
but the coffee pot is empty
no caffein flowing
in my veins
nothing to wash away
the nighttime blues
just got to have some
but there is none to be had
and my sugar and cream
feel so all alone
without some coffee
with them in my cup
and my teaspoon
has nothing to stir up
and I can't wake up
the morning blues
has got me down
