Loss of words

An empty head once full of words,
It utters not a single thought,
Perhaps it's dead.
A dull, grey eye once ful of sparkle,
It emits not a single twinkle,
Nor reflects the light in the sky.
A pale pink face once full of hope,
It shows not sign of glory.
She only has time to think,
Her belief was lost,
Her life is covered by frost,
She must regain her trust.
