I am Whom I am

This is a story to help people whom are not disabled to understand about Learning disabilities and Mental Illness.

I am whom I am, please learn to accept me for whom and what I am. Just because you can not see my disabilities does not mean that they don't exist. It is just that what you can not see, is what you don't understand.
Please give me and the rest of the people whom suffer with this a chance for as normal life as possible. We want to be productive and to work and to hold down a job, but if you do not give us a chance to prove of ourselves, then we will be destinyed to live off Social Security for the rest of our lives and subjected to live in proverty. Look at the able in the disabled. That is all I ask of the ones whom consider themselves to be "normal."
Normal is what you perceive it to be.

Mental Illness strikes 5 out of every 10 adults in the US today. It can be depression, stress-related illnesses, or learning disabilites. This does not mean we should not be given the same chances in life and the opportunity to work amongst the so call"normal" and "able" persons in society.
Think please before anyone whom is not disabled, about the mentally and learning disabled and give us all a chance.
