Why do you like writing?
Rachel: Because I think that all types of stories, books, and poems that we read creates a world that myabe doesn't exist and maybe never will exist. And sometimes reading about the things that are least likely going to happen to you, can be the most fun of all to write.

When did you start writing and why?
Rachel: I started writing when I was about six and did it because, at the time, it was fun. Of course they were just little two-page stories, but I still cherish them.

How long have you been writing?
Rachel: Ever since I was six.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Rachel: Probably THe Harry Potter series because they are so interesting and well written.

Who is your favorite author?
Rachel: C.S. Lewis

What is the best story you have ever written?
Rachel: The Magical Quest, I guess.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Rachel: That before you start writing you have to read, and read, and read. You have to read to learn how you should word things and how to make things seem interesting.
