Why do you like writing?
Cynthia J. Peterson: It's kind of like therapy for me, I can write what I can't express verbally.
When did you start writing and why?
Cynthia J. Peterson: I started writing in grade school, because I needed a way to escape from the everyday stress of being a fat, mistreated child.
How long have you been writing?
Cynthia J. Peterson: I have been writing for 35 to 38 years, I can't remember how old I was when I wrote something for the first time,
What is the best book you have ever read?
Cynthia J. Peterson: The best book I have ever read, is A Walk To Remember, by Nicholas Sparks.
Who is your favorite author?
Cynthia J. Peterson: My favorite author, I have three, Dean Koontz, Robert Jordan, and Danielle Steele, an odd combination, I know.
What is the best story you have ever written?
Cynthia J. Peterson: The best story I ever wrote, I submitted in a test for childrens books, it was called Phoebe's First Fish.
What is some advice you would give new writers?
Cynthia J. Peterson: Write, no matter what, just keep writing, about everything, and anything.
