Writing web sites; playing music (trombone & clarinet); writing poetry

Why do you like writing?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: It's a way of communicating to others the range emotions that we all experience and relate to. My poetry is predominantly taken from people's life experiences and events.

When did you start writing and why?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: At school I wrote a few poems - all those have been lost - but of recent years have enjoyed this form of self-expression and sharing

How long have you been writing?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: Only in the last few years have I given it any serious effort.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: Impossible to say. My bookshelf has a great number of technical, music, Christian, and other reference books, rather than novels or fiction. But I derive much enjoyment and satisfaction from such books.

Who is your favorite author?
Thomas Graeme Chapman:

What is the best story you have ever written?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: (Now really, this question, as it stands, surely is not serious. We are reminded, on this site, to check our spelling, grammar, etc. Ought not "have ever wrote" be "have ever written"?)

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Thomas Graeme Chapman: Read and re-read your work, and revise. The first setting down will almost never be the best expression of your ideas.
