B.K.: It gives me the chance to express my creativity.

B.K.: I've written stories since I was about in second grade. I started writing stories because I love to write and I wanted to share the talent I have.

B.K.: Since about Second Grade

What is the best book you have ever read?
B.K.: That would be hard to pick just one, but I would say if I had to pick it would be The Smoke Jumpers.

Who is your favorite author?
B.K.: I don't really have a favorite, I like lots of different authors.

What is the best story you have ever written?
B.K.: A novel I wrote when I was 15. I never gave it a title.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
B.K.: Don't force yourself to sit down and write. It will all come to you eventually. When writing becomes forced, it is no longer fun and creative, it becomes rushed and readers can also tell.
