... the British plague...
… the British plague…
… like some plague of old…
a joyless oppression has descended over Britain…
… no longer is it apparently acceptable to strive…
… to work hard and imaginatively
and improve and prosper…
… but to reward the work shy, the lazy and untalented…
often giving them more than earned by the diligent
encouraging the idle drones that infect us…
… really… we do not deserve to survive…
