Someone I Can Trust
I have known a lot of people
most were aquaintances or relatives
I do not make friends easily
I do not bond
and most do not bond to me
I have always been aloner
even as a child
I do not know how to play
with others only by myself
People frighten me
I do not trust them
I feel so vulnerable around them
and I have been hurt so many times
Jim is the only person
I have known for a very long time except for my son
I left home early due to abuse and didn't
even know my step parents that long
My mother died when I was at an early age and so did
my dad
I really didn't know them that well
It is hard for me to get close to people
but I have a wonderful relationship with myself
and Jim is someone I can trust
