demanding constant cultivation
and deep passionate love?
Its survival may only be
assured by support and
determination to endure
all good times and bad
Driving its roots down
deeper and stronger
reaching up further
to embrace sun and rain
Weathering against all
enthusiastic for life
to defy the threat of
